That’s me, enjoying food after a night on the rock wall.

I am a Registered Dietitian residing in Salt Lake City, Utah.  I grew up in the woods of New England.  Prior to becoming a dietitian I worked as a farmer, sheep-herder, professional baker, bartender, book-keeper, lab bench scientist, waitress, barista . . . and a few more professions.  I find nutrition to be the confluence of my three loves: science, spirit and the natural world.  I have a BS in Environmental Science and a Masters in Nutrition.  I have attended many additional continuing education courses since I received my degrees.

I view the body as a place for healing, grounding and connection.  And nutrition as an invitation to access this.

I follow the Health At Every Size (HAES) and Intuitive Eating approaches to nutrition.  I am not here to prescribe an eating plan but to help you connect with the internal wisdom of your body.
